Ingredients
250 grams paneer (cubed)
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 teaspoon nigella seeds (kalonji)
1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 large onion (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (pureed)
2 green chilies (slit)
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
2 tablespoons yogurt
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
Steps To Make It :
1. Prepare the Tempering :
Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
2. Cook the Onion and Spices :
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté until the raw smell disappears.
Add turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.
3. Add Tomato Puree :
Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
4. Add Paneer and Yogurt :
Add paneer cubes and mix gently.
Stir in yogurt, ensuring it blends well with the masala. Cook for a few minutes until the paneer is well coated.
5. Finish the Dish :
SAdd garam masala and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
